Richard Costanza has practiced law in Moore County and the surrounding counties for over 25 years. He has been recognized as a Board Certified Specialist in State Criminal Law since 2007. To achieve this honor, he was recognized by the North Carolina State Bar, judges, and his fellow attorneys as having specialized skills in the practice of criminal law in the courts of North Carolina. Richard Costanza received his undergraduate degree from Campbell University, where he was a member of the varsity wrestling team for four years. He graduated from Campbell’s Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law, where he served on the Law Review, on honor reserved for the top academic achievers at the law school. He is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, the North Carolina Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Moore County Bar.
Additionally, Mr. Costanza is a board certified specialist in State Criminal Law, a recognition limited to the few attorneys in North Carolina that have shown the rigorous qualifications to achieve this designation. Mr. Costanza has served as the President of Judicial District 19-B, and he currently serves as a member of the body that regulates the practice of law in North Carolina.
